Modernize portrait layout for iPhones that are very tall

iPhones have started to become taller and taller. The current portrait layout even for modern devices (except for iPhone 6+) is still the same as it was originally designed for the iPhone 3GS with its small screen.

A new layout should be implemented that makes use of the available vertical space. This is probably as simple as switching to the new portrait layout in use on iPhone 6+.

The addition of the annotation view already made good use of the available space. Variation support will probably eat up what's left
