Postgres instead of S3 as a backend?

Hi,

I am not sure if it's "worth it" but I'd like to call out that there was a way to use Postgres as a backend to Ipython Notebook and Jupyter Notebook (see link below) and that might be nice given Heroku's amazing postgres support.
