Can't install Heroku plugins

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.10
  • Heroku CLI version: heroku/8.0.2 linux-x64 node-v16.19.0

When I run

heroku plugins:install heroku-config

Current Behavior

Installing plugin heroku-config... failed
 ›   Error: plugin is invalid

I tried installing heroku-accounts but got the same error.

Expected Behavior

The plugins are installed.

We apologize for this. We've released a fix, if you run heroku update and update to version 8.0.3 you should be able to install plugins again.
