npm error on java plugin install

Open tomersela opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

When running heroku plugins:install java I get the following error:

error Couldn't find package "@heroku-cli/color@^1.1.3" required by "heroku-cli-util@^8.0.8" on the "npm" registry.
Installing plugin java... !

I tried to re-install heroku-cli with no luck. I get the same error. I'm using Mac OS, the cli is installed with brew.

Thanks in advance :)

Checking in on this one @tomersela @ShashwatJhaMaersk are you still experiencing this issue? I was just able to install the java plugin with v8.11.3 of the CLI on a Mac with the CLI installed via homebrew, but I wanted to check with the two of you before closing this out. If we don't hear from you within 30 days, we will close this issue.

We moved out of Heroku few years ago (not because of this error :))

I'm closing this one, as the Java plugin is deprecated right now. There's a new method for deployment of Java applications using Heroku JVM Application Deployer.
