Sorry, took me a while to get back to this. Tested it and discovery appears to be working. But i didn't really test much in the form of corner cases....
Encountered this too already. If this happens i'm able to work arround it by accessing the base domain (so basically https://zammad.example.org/) and then clicking the OpenID Sign in Button again.
Three notes: 1. For me the session timout really doesn't work reliably at a point in time i expect it too. Even if i close the zammad tab i'm back...

Is there a reason to track this backport downstream and not in the OpenWrt repo? Seems like something that's not gluon specific. Otherwise it seems justifiable to backport it.
