newbie and a bit confused

Hi, I got here via a small nightmare trying to use HOSTS as the blocklist.

I'm in Simplewall now. In the new rule dialog its looking for an IP.

I'm trying to block, technically, many thousands of urls/IPs.

Any chance there's a tutorial for a task like that?

Or is this not a recommended use of SimpleWall?
If its acceptable, Is there a tutorial for adding bulk rules? Again, if so, is there a file template for how those entries are constructed?

Thanks for listening, looking forward to this

I too looking forward for this to be implemented +1 #749, #322, #838

Right now there is no easy way to bulk add IPs to be blocked.

You can register the csv file in the firewall as a batch file yourself. #1241

I've said it before too. However, the content of the question has been closed.

Even if you register as a batch file. However, in the case of the Windows default firewall, due to a program bug... The limit is 1,000. (Windows 10) Windows 11 can register up to 10,000. If you register more than 1000 rules in Windows 10, there is a lag when booting Windows 10.

1 Anyway, I use Windows' default firewall. I am using Windows 11. As in the image, it can be used simultaneously with the basic firewall.
