Games that require 3.61+ will not run
UPDATE "tbl_appinfo" SET val = '00.000' WHERE key = 1203824812;
Someone who is experiencing this problem, try running that on app.db and see if it bypasses it.
Okay that doesn't work.
Cursory investigation seem to show that it's failing lv0 version checks. If true, that means we can't spoof fw until either a lv0 hack or a hack on newer fw.
Very likely to be lv0 checks. At offset 0x1B0
of the control info of the SELF, there is a min system version field. This is signed along with the rest of the SELF and is likely checked by lv0. That means we won't be able to bypass it anytime soon (it would require a lv0 hack). It is also possible that Sony added new keys to 3.61, which means that lv0 must be hacked in 3.61 to get them.
$ony, wont help you, eats your cash with prices triple that of steam, let you die on a customer support line, say fuck you and your purchases, buy it again, rape you on PSN and proprietary bullshit tactics, make you buy the same system 3 times New new slim(er) !!!! but worst of all kill a system, then when the community makes it popular again come back and try to rape you a second time and steal your wallet.
cough_Xbox Fanboy_cough
thecooldude0517, don't you mean Glorious PC Master Race? Xbox is still a console that does the exact same things from what I remember.
@ssj4maiko PC is my main platform now. If consoles are turning into PC's why settle for less.
What you have to do is edit the RAM, try to make a "cheat engine" for psvita, find the offset lv0 and put the old key.
The plugin rincheat I think it does something like that but no idea.
@MagicInventor lol right...
@yifanlu Someone posted this process over on reddit. It seems to involve editing your ID.dat to say you're on 3.61 so you can dump the game, dumping the game, editing your ID back to 3.60, then (since game is now unencrypted) editing the required version to 3.60 instead of 3.61 so anyone on 3.60 can run it.
Complete BS
Seemed too easy.
how about this?: download game to 3.61 PSVita, swap memory card to 3.60 PSVita, dump the game, change required version inside vpk
Huh, can we bypass the 3.61 requirement of the memory card itself?
Why do people comment with such stupid ideas? If you don't know something, just don't say anything. smh
