Hi Neil does the BSE download work on Windows 10 home OS ?
Hi bubbu64 ... for me as well BSE does not work on Win 10 Home ...only NSE does flawlessly ... we are discussing this here https://github.com/hemenkapadia/getbhavcopy/issues/104
This is what I did to make it work. After numerous tries installing afresh in my desktop, I downloaded the zip file on to my laptop transferred it to my desktop and installed. It worked...same settings. Weird but looks like something to do with my desktop download even-though the checksum was the same as published. This has nothing to do with your machine. I am sure that when you were trying earlier NSE may not have been returning data. You can always rename getbhavcopy.exe by adding a version number to the name. Run both versions --- they will use the same settings. Just in case it may help identify if it was a corrupt download - which is already ruled out by an MD5SUM check.
It could be that your antivirus or some software is blocking things....
Dear Hemen As I said earlier here, on Win 10 the NSE/NSE FUTURES download works flawlessly, but not BSE. I tried all the three on win 7 and bingo it works well for all the three downloads. So it has nothing to do with corrupt download at all. Regards Shailendra
Not sure - update to the latest version of .net framework on Windows 10 and see if that helps. I am not sure why some users are reporting issues on Windows 10. I develop on Windows 10 and I dont see any issues.
Hi Hemen I did update as asked but still it doesnt work for BSE on Win 10 Regards Shailendra
