• What license is this released under?
• Are you the original author of protostar?
• Would it be possible to provide a Makefile that would generate these (ensuring that things like the canaries and such aren't use and that optimizations are turned off)?

I'm not the original author of Protostar or Nebula. This repository actually just hold the problems and my solutions for posterity. You're free to do whatever you want with my solutions :)

In terms of the Makefile suggestion, I think it would make sense to create those if there weren't already VMs for these problems.
