Hello @alphamodh0. Mind to give some context, such as pros and cons? Thanks.

-No KDE dependencies. -A fully modificable browser. -Themizable. -An Opera's 12.x clone. -Very good for new and advanced users.

Otter Browser aims to recreate the best aspects of Opera 12 and to revive its spirit. We are focused on providing the powerful features power users want while keeping the browser fast and lightweight. We also learned from history and decided to release the browser under the GNU GPL v3.

No KDE dependencies.

Hard. Since we are using KWin, there will probably always be some KDE dependencies in helloSystem, which I think is OK (as long as we are not installing "half of KDE Plasma", which we aren't).

A fully modificable browser.

We have Chromium and Firefox in addition to the system default browser, Falkon. Do these count?

I also have Vivaldi, Brave, Opera, and Ungoogled Chromium running via the Linuxulator on my development machine.

An Opera's 12.x clone.

If one is looking for Opera, then why not run Opera itself? :-)

So, what we are looking for is a Qt based browser that looks and feels like a native helloSystem application. Falkon does fit this bill, but it seems that development is almost stalled, which is unfortunate.

I think the only thing Falkon is missing are "extensions."

That's true. Is there a Qt based browser that supports Chrome or Firefox extensions?

I don't know if there are any, it would be great.

How about the Pale Moon browser, although it is independent from firefox.
