mesa-dri broke i915?

Someone in the chat remarked that i915 is broken.

Need a way to reproduce this.

Apparently the root cause is that Mesa removed important drivers.

After Mesa 21.3, all non-Gallium DRI drivers were removed from the Mesa source-tree. These drivers are still being maintained to some degree, but only on the amber branch, and only for critical fixes.

I do have the same issue running a bunch of apps. I see the error only if I use CLI to launch the apps. To replicate install and launch glxgears.
