Printer Settings - last step - click Apply - nothing happens

hellosystem 0.8.0 HP Pavilion 15z laptop HP OfficeJet 8020 printer

This is true for all options, IPP, HPLIP, etc. Finds printer, on last step, clicking Apply, nothing happens - no error message, nothing.

Can you add the printer in http://localhost:631/admin, by clicking on "Add printer" and following the instructions there?

On my system, I just have a network printer and it gets added to helloSystem automatically without me having to configure anything. So I never need to do anything to add a printer. Just wait for a couple of minutes; does that work for you?
