Booting stops when RF switch is off
On installed helloSystem 0.8.0 experimental booting stops when RF switch is set to off on Lenovo T520. It can reacts to Ctrl-Alt-Del and shuts down and reboots.
Booting stops at the position where RF switch state is being read.
What happens when you boot with the RF switch set to on until you can see the desktop. Then set the RF switch to off.
Does the device reboot? Immediate reboot or black/grey screen first?
When booting with the RF switch set to on until you can see the desktop, then setting the RF switch to off is followed by the kernel message "radio disabled". The system then continues to work properly.
Do you see the same behavior with GhostBSD?
GhostBSD was booting ok.
That is very interesting. I wonder what causes the difference between the two systems.
