It's not yet useful for me (I'm sure I'll need just to fiddle with it to get it to properly speak with Uber, or wait for whatever failure Uber is presently experiencing to accidentally go away), but once it is, the reason will be that, for a business user, the ability to coherently pull together all ride receipts is almost as important as having the cars and drivers, and it strikes me as intentionally thick-headed of Uber not to have long ago provided native capability for such a function.

Their back-end may be awesome and full of AI goodness, but their app and to a far greater extent their website always make me wonder whether any of their front end dev team has ever used anyone else's web site or app.
