Allow the feed list and article list font(s) to be larger
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. On my laptop, the application font is quite small, making it hard to read. I'm talking about the font used for the feeds list as well as the list of articles.
This violates accessibility guidelines, meaning a lot of people simply won't be able to use it. See https://a11y-style-guide.com/style-guide/section-general.html#kssref-general-typography ("Avoid small font sizes.")
Describe the solution you'd like Easy option: Use the default system font, instead of a smaller font. Since users have already picked a font they are happy with, respecting their choice should be simple to implement and solves the problem.
Flexible option: Allow the user to configure the size of that font.
Fancy option: Allow the user to control the family, size, and style of that font.
Alternative: Provide shortcut keys to zoom the display in, thus increasing the font size as well. If you do this, please save the setting, as it would be a pain to have to do it every time you start the app.
Describe alternatives you've considered I tried Ctrl-+ (as would work in a browser), but that had no effect. I can see that you can change the font used to display individual article text, but not the article list or feed list. Perhaps I could adjust my system scaling, but I already have it set to be comfortable for all my other apps, so if I make the raven reader font large enough, everything else would be huge.
Additional context n/a.
@kevindigo Can you provide a resolution for your laptop?
@mrgodhani: Thanks for following up. I'm running at 1920x1080 on a 12" screen.
But I'm not sure that really matters. Whatever font size an application imposes is going to be too big for some people, and too small for others. It's really important to either obey an existing setting that the user has chosen for their system, or allow the user to choose their own size.
