when I log in it forgets what I have done

I asked it to tell me a joke and when I hit enter, It asked me to log in cause I had not. I closed the modal window and then hit log in top right After logging in, went back to the page and my question/request was gone

interesting, I think this is an edge case - the user is meant to click the login / register button in the modal

we could make the login button top right do the same remembering trick that the button in the modal does though

leaving open but going to give this low priority
