Is this warning really necessary? It fills up the logs for no real reason. There is nothing I can change to fix it that I know of.

What hospot is this on? The warning is actually meaningful since it means that the packet forwarder is sending packets that may not be parseable.
It's a RisingHF 1301 Pi Hat. Semtech UDP poly_pkt_frwd. Seems to be working fine and the packets parse fine on Chirpstack connected to Helium. Need more details?

For me, not really needed, no.. The packet forwarder on there is sending the wrong value for the GWMP version header. The shortest path to a fix is to change the log settings for gateway-rs to only be "helium-gateway=info". I believe that will silence the noise from the underlying semtech-udp library.
Perhaps @lthiery can take a peek as to why this is happening and if we should do something different about the level for that warning?
