Lift gossip metadata limits

Currently, due to a suspected ordering/determinism issue in deserialization and reserialization, gossip metadata becomes unstable once it has more than four or five entries.

In order to report richer information about hotspots, it would be nice to fix this issue so we could report more and better information.
