Additional Information
Hi Nova Lab, Helium inc.,
Me and my friends own about 17 Hotspots, which are deployed in 2 different Cities:
-
11x Hotspots in Bismark (Altstadt), Germany >> https://explorer.helium.com/iot/cities/YmlzbWFyayAoYWx0bWFyaylzYWNoc2VuLWFuaGFsdGdlcm1hbnk
-
6x Hotspots in Kilis Merkez/Kilis, Turkey >> https://explorer.helium.com/iot/cities/a2lsaXNraWxpc3R1cmtleQ
I noticed that the 11 hotspots were added to the denylist without me knowing the reason. The other 6 hotspots are not effected even though they were all configured the same! The 11x hotspots are beeing hosted by elderly people and due to the lack of there Knowledge in IT and communication , I connected them to a VPN that my company uses in Berlin in order to maintain them and reset the devices when needed, which is very helpful to track/keep performance.
I remember being the first to deploy 6 devices in Bismark, Germany, and then invited friends to join the network, which are kept on separate account/address.
I can imagine that the algorithm interpretates the vpn configuration as spoofing, which is not the case. The port forwarding mechanism for the devices in Turkey has already been disabled, as it affects stability of the connection there.
I manage to turn off the vpn if it was the cause of adding the hotspot to the denylist. Will a removale be approved?
Looking forward to a positive response.
Sincerely yours, Bios
Ps. I use my own Python script for the tracking/taxing. An export of the hotspots will be attached. Export Hotspots.xlsx
