Fonts only display as root

Helio runs but no fonts are displayed if ran under normal user. Run as root and Helio runs normally Running Archlinux. Gnome on Wayland or Xorg has the same bug. Both the tarball and the AppImage, both stable and dev builds.

I am also experiencing this issue in Sway on Artix Linux.
