Better description of the long running process feature

@helhum Would be nice if the documentation told a bit about when to use the long running process feature and the pros/cons. For example what is an ideal setting. Is it 5 or 30 minutes and if I set it to 5 minutes (300 seconds), would I set the cronjob to the exact same interval?
