9th and subsequent non-percussion instruments are completely silent.

Hi, and thanks for taking a look. Using 1.6.2 binary release for Linux here, Fluidsynth output plugin.

If you start adding instruments (not tracks), then only so many can be added without trouble. When you add one that becomes the 9th or subsequent non-percussion instrument, and assign them to a track, the track will produce no sound at all.

You can add or remove instruments, but one thing remains consistent: only the topmost 8 non-percussion instruments will produce sound.

In case you are wondering why I need so many: I want to make a template with the instruments I often need. And sometimes I need to swap similar instruments with to find the most appropriately sounding one. Going to the instrument manager and swapping MIDI programs there is a chore!

Thanks for your attention to this issue, in advance!
