Affected version

1.0.11

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open browser Maxthon/duckduckgo
  2. Enter the autofill test site https://fill.dev/form/login-simple
  3. Submit the form

Expected behavior

Options:

  1. Pop-up to save an account with url
  2. Long less on the form to save the account

Actual behavior

I can see a hint on the top of my keyboard when I type the info, I'm using gboard. After I press anything, the hint disappear, and nothing happen when I submit the form. The browser has it's own password management. Then I will not have a chance to save a new account. Is it normal? I checked the autofill service of 'nextcloud passwords'.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Saving passwords from autofill is currently not implemented, which is why you have no chance to save new credentials. I am not planning to implement it anytime soon, since it's a feature I would not use, and I have almost no free time to do it. However, contributions are more than welcome, and I would gladly review and merge this feature if someone wants to implement it.

Cheers!
