UnleashedRecomp.exe not working please help
Validation: This does not happen on my laptop which is less powerful than my PC, the installer starts normally there,
If you have DLC installed, specify which ones you have: -I have not installed all the DLCs yet but I will soon, I have them in a folder ready
A clear and concise description of what the error is: I can't open the exe called unleashedrecomp. Every time I try to open it I get a black screen and it says the exe is not responding
Steps to reproduce the error:
- I go to UnleashedRecomp.exe and click
- A black screen appears for about 2 or 3 minutes and says UnleashedRecomp.exe not working.

Specifications: -CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-9100F -GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 730
- OS: Windows 11
Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps\ and upload the latest file named UnleashedRecomp.exe.*.dmp (where the * can be any number).
If the file doesn't exist, then it hasn't crashed and this seems more like a hang.
If you have a crash dump (*.dmp file), you can put it in a *.zip file and upload it straight to GitHub in a reply.
If it doesn't fit, you may need to use an external site (e.g. Google Drive).
i got it working finally when i changed the line in the config from auto to vulkan
the config is in the appdata/roaming/unleashedrecomp folder

Were you able to solve the problem? I have the same problem, I have the same GT 730 4GB graphics card but with a 4th generation Intel Core i3

UnleashedRecomp.exe.12492.zip is this a compatibility issue as well?

They are not and I have tried everything and I just can't get my drivers to update.
Navigate to %APPDATA%\UnleashedRecomp\ and open config.toml in a text editor and change the GraphicsAPI property to Vulkan and try again.

If all else fails, please do try to update your driver. You can find the latest GeForce GT 730 driver here.
The last supported driver for the GeForce GT 730 appears to be 475.14, not 516.59. Try downloading from the link I posted previously.
I just tried with version 475.14 and I have the same error, I also don't have Vulkan
Hey, I got the same issue, what would i put in the graphics api if my gpu is from intel?
We are the same, I already updated to the most recent version and I can't update my drivers, it's funny because many tutorials say that PC potato can run Sonic Unleashed Recomp when you and I know that's not the case, I hope this is fixed in the most recent version, I already used the most recent version of Unleashed Recomp and it's still the same.
@Dyke45 Please download and install GPU-Z and attach a screenshot of the Graphics Card tab in the software.
