Very long loading times at default internal resolution
Validation

- [x] I have confirmed that this bug does not occur in the original game running on original Xbox 360 hardware
Describe the Bug
The loading times for some stages are very long, for example Savannah Citadel Day Act 3 and Eggmanland Act 1. Eggmanland in particular takes over a minute and that includes the points where you switch between Sonic and Werehog. Strangely, this issue disappears if I reduce internal resolution to 45% (which is 864x486 on my display) and Eggmanland loads in like 5 seconds.
Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the bug:
- At 1920x1080 display, set internal resolution to 100%.
- Start Eggmanland Act 1 from World Map.
- The loading screen takes a very long time.
Expected Behavior
The loading times are consistent regardless of resolution.

Additional Context
Issue occurs with both D3D12 and Vulkan renderers in case that's relevant.
Seems to me that you lack ram to be able to load fast those levels. Whats your ram?

I have 8 GB of RAM, that should be enough, no? Also, even if that's the case, it's still strange how Eggmanland takes like 2 minutes to load at 66% resolution scale but it goes down to 5 seconds at 45% resolution scale.
Indeed it is peculiar. I suspect that you actually need more than 8 GB of ram because the integrated gpu also needs ram to work with. When running the game, I consume 7 GB of ram plus 3 GB of vram which totals 10 GB needed to run. Your system might need those extra 2 GB. If you had 12 or even 16 GB, I believe you wouldn't have that problem. So, naturally, if you reduce the resolution scale, your gpu needs less ram to run the game.
No, 12 GB is not enough, I'm telling you
