UnleashedRecomp UnleashedRecomp.exe doesn't open

I open the exe, the screen goes black, and the program closes automatically, i seen other report like this and yes, my CPU supports AVX, so i don't know what is the problem

i'm not the guy who asked question but i have the same problem,. The app starts with a black screen then it just closes itself my specs are

So I am having the same issue, my specs are:

Same issue here as well. Installation appears to have gone fine, with base game, title update, and all DLC selected. Executable closed after installation was completed, don't know if that was how it's supposed to function, or if it was supposed to immediately launch the game afterward. In any case, clicking the executable again just results in a black screen for 2 or 3 seconds, and then the application closes, with no errors presented.

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k @ 4.00GHz GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 (driver v561.09) OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 22H2

Further details in case relevant: game installation folder is on a 4TB Samsung SATA SSD that is NOT my C drive; the executable crashes regardless of launching as administrator or not.

I have a similar issue where the executable doesn't open at all.

I have noticed that people wıth DirectX 12 are facing this issue, i have it as well. Could that be the problem?

Installed latest 64bit C++ version. Got a longer black screen on first launch attempt after updating, but still crashed.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t help. The loading took a bit longer, but it still crashed. It looks like we’ll have to wait for an update

I have a theory upon why the installer doesn't open: 1, the installer tries to use both D12 and Vulk at the same time and trying to select which one is better but fails and perhaps overrides some code 2, the minimum requirements is a lie

Surely that would have come up in testing. I think it's safe to assume the vast majority of Windows users have Windows Security enabled.

I get the same issue here. Installer successfully installs the game, but I get black screen then crash when I try to run the game. Run as administrator doesn't work, I tried restarting PC, I tried updating graphics drivers, I tried updating VC redist. Title update and game region match (I've tried installing both US and both EU, still nothing works). I've tried with and without DLC, so no change depending on whether DLC is installed. I've tried installing on 2 different SSDs.

EDIT: I turned ShowConsole to true in the config file. Before crashing, the console displays one line which reads: [*] SDL video driver: "windows". Then the program crashes. Hope this helps, disregard if not.

Specs: CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400 @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 TI RAM: 16 gb OS: Windows 10 Home 22H2 19045.5487

That GPU is too old and lacks full D3D12 support (SM 6.0) and any form of Vulkan support.
