Crash after around 100~110 runs

Open Jimmy-Z opened this issue 2 years ago • 8 comments

It constantly happens, both the game and koolo would crash.

If I manually stop koolo at around 70~80 runs and start it again, then they won't crash, so I think it's koolo, not the game, or my OS/VM/hardware.

I'm doing only pindleskin runs with blizzard sor BTW, VM is on Proxmox VE with GPU passthrough, if that matters.

I observed a bit more and I think it's memory leak, koolo's memory usage is constantly increasing after each run, reaches 1.7GB after 33 runs, according to task manager.

By increasing windows virtual memory setting from 4G to 32G, I'm able to reach 500 runs until crash.

You should try with 64 now 😆

Thanks for reporting, I will take a look, many places that can be leaking actually, but must be something big.

I'm so close to setup a go env until you replied, haven't been doing go dev for quite a while, should not be too hard to figure it out with pprof though.

I'm okay with 500 consecutive runs now :D

I will be more than happy to review any contribution 😉

I'll take a look this weekend if you haven't fixed it by then 😉

pretty sure it will not be fixed by then 😢 I'm too busy introducing new memory leaks 🤣

Same here. Paused and shutdown the bot this morning. Now the CMD no longer works. It opens and shuts down instantly.
