IntelliSense not working. Is it normal?

Hello, I tried all options before coming here, I hope someone can help.

I don't have IntelliSense working on my Raspberry 4. I tried with Raspbian and Ubuntu, latest versions.

When typing code (e.g. C++, with the C++ extension installed) no tips are shown. I see in the command palette an option like "C++: Reset IntelliSense Database", I tried it just in case, and I get the error "command 'C_Cpp.ResetDatabase' not found".

Am I missing something in the setup to make it work?

Any hint will be welcome.
