Changing partial scss file does not auto-recompile main scss file

This problem has been around for a while. Are there any solutions coming?

Strings are displayed as hex values

Stuck at FTP-Sync: Collecting local files list

Same here too. It freezes when syncing a large folder, making this plugin outright useless for production environment. This needs to be addressed ASAP.
