Initially entering nodes a series of nodes is much harder than it needs to be, it should be possible to parse a string, e.g. split by whitespace or read S-expressions....
It would be helpful to have a mechanism for hiding/collapsing nodes and their subtrees. Perhaps past a certain depth? [ecola](https://github.com/hcs64/ecola) has some ideas along these lines.
When first loading, the initial node should be near the bottom center of the screen rather than in the upper left, so that it can be immediately made use of....
