add history to results

Open 257 opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

i've just started using auto-fu but i don't see history being pull into results. is it possible to add history to resutls? i would want it to be the first hit actually. why? because most commands are repeteation (with some minor changes applied in small portion of them) of older commands... definitly needs to be the first hit in results...

It could be done with the _history completer, I don't use it personally though.

please reopen this; i have _history but it doesn't do it what i'm asking. it does words in history. what i'm asking for is more like history-incremental-search-backward.

history-incremental-search-backward itself seems to need some modification to achieve this. with history-incremental-search-backward one only gets a single hit, if any. what i have in mind is more like results in fzf results in history, (and backward of course because of short to long mem hierarch in humans): fzf
