Steps to reproduce

  • Open the About window

What happens

Failed to download https://www.sparkleshare.org/version: Error: SecureChannelFailure (The authentication or decryption has failed.)   at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadDataInternal (System.Uri address, System.Net.WebRequest& request)

I am not entirely fond of the feature in the first place (calling home?), but reporting for good conscience. Am I missing a dependency maybe?
