Close last tab bug...

When I run "close tab" shortcut on the last tab it doesn't work as it should.

It seems that it works as if you pressed the home shortcut, because when you press back button after closing last tab you are brought back to the last page from history. (I have set back button to exit the app when on last tab)

For comparison when I run "Close all" shortcut all tabs are closed and then press back button I am taken out of the app.

I am so glad that this app is still developed.... Thank you for your hard work...

For me is working correctly. Try to set the action on last tab of "Close tab" to "Close all tabs" or exit browser

@MJ1979 You can set the behaviour of "Close Tab" button when only one tab was opened. Try to set the "Close Tab" shortcut button as on the screenshots: Click on the gear icon (⚙️) near tick (✔️).

If there is only one tab opened clicking on the "Close tab" button opens a new tab and closes a previous one (it is not visible for the user in the user interface but it occurs). That way I can close the last tab without:

1. Closing the browser
2. Remembering tab history from before the last tab closure

@AlexBestBro I wonder why it's not working for me... I am running Resurrection Remix on nougat (final release) but I never had any problems with it. I will try on a couple of more phones when I get the chance and report back.

I've tried close tab and close all as the under setting and it works.

@mp107 I also tried your suggestion and it works if in under settings I first select new tab and then close others. If I first select close other and then new tab it completely changes behavior and doesn't even close the last tab.

That was my intention also -- close the last tab, remain in the browser on speed dial without tab history with an option to continue browsing or exit with the back button.

Anyway, thank you both. I still think it is a bug withing the app, but I will do more testing in the coming days. This bypass has helped me but I doubt many people would think of it. I've spent couple of hours trying to solve it without success.

I'll remain on the habit as my default browser until I get Yuzu settings to perfection. Yuzu definitely has more upside as it is still developed and has integrated ad-block (ublock origin support would be on the wish-list).
