Rehid breaks music in PKSM
First of all, I realize this is probably an out-of-scope issue, but I'm cross-posting it here to raise awareness of it.
PKSM, the popular Pokemon save file manager has the ability to play background music if you supply music on your SD card.
When Rehid is installed (and game patching is enabled), this feature breaks, and the music stops after playing the first half-second or so.
This occurs even if you're not actively remapping anything in Rehid (eg, there's no config for PKSM). Just having Rehid installed causes this bug (presumably because it's always running in the background).
Removing Rehid or disabling game patching resolves the issue.
Over at https://github.com/FlagBrew/PKSM/issues/1290, another user and I have both confirmed that an incompatibility with Rehid causes this issue.
I'm just a user reporting a bug, so I've got no idea if this is caused by a bug in PKSM, a bug in Rehid, or just an unfortunate coincidence where both apps are accidentally interfering with each other despite neither doing anything wrong.
I'd love to see this fixed (by either team) if someone finds there is something fixable. I know it's a super niche bug though. 😅
Thanks so much for your work on Rehid. 😁
Hey! I think this is an issue with rehid. However, I have never used PKSM before, so I am not able to test things out. Please hop on to my server to help me debug it. Thanks! https://discord.gg/hyuvmb9
