Overstacking issue with crafting tables

Set an item to a stack size of 32, then place two of them into a crafting table. If you press ESC to exit the crafting table, the items will be returned to you and stacked to 64.

The overstack also occurs whenever shift-clicking any new crafted item from a crafting table, it looks like
