Are there any automatic regression/integration/unit tests ? How do you ensure the build is stable?

@haveachin This project has reached a somewhat acceptable testing maturity now, but I wonder, do we really need to test on MacOS with our continuous integration ? I think it slows down merging PRs unnecessarily because after all, no one is gonna run infrared on their desktop mac. I didn't want to create a new issue for that because I think it's a minor thing and fits well in here.

I'll think we should keep it for now, because some people might want to test it on there MacOS system locally.
