[AMD] The water physics does not work with shaders

Open ViperDeMLG opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug I have an AMD GPU (latest driver version 24.5.1) and was running the same version of mods and minecraft with my friends with the physics mod but when I applied shaders, doesn't matter which one the water just stayed as default while it was working for my friends (we used the same shaders as well).

To Reproduce I'm not sure if it's reproduceable on other machines but I simply just apply the shaders and the water just stayed default

Maybe you use a different version of the specific shaderpack. That could cause it to work for your friends and not for you. Other than that you could try disabling "Use No Error Context" in the Performance menu of Sodium and check what it says afterwards.

Thanks for the reply, will try to work it out in a few hours. Thing is I had my friends shared their shader, so that I am sure we using the same one.

I went into your mod settings > Ocean and turned off the physics for water and it worked, very weird. Maybe somrthing with AMD?
