time lag in the Scheduled Events?

if I schedule an event at date 16:20:35, when will it be executed?

Adding some more context from intercom chat:

... i've scheduled event on 2020-08-17T12:05:45Z but was executed at 2020-08-17T12:06:05.719295914Z

There is a one minute poller which is delivering all the scheduled events. So, in the worst case you may have a 59s lag (when the poller is running at a wall clock skew of 59s).
