Disable humidity sensor

Is it possible to add an option to disable the humidity sensor in the humidifier? I have an external humidity sensor in my room. And I want the humidifier to work from an external sensor in Homekit External sensor in my room show let's say... 39% But in humidifier 50% I think that the external sensor shows more true values, since it is not near the humidifier Model CA1
