We support version 12 now. Did not look into using 14 yet. Need to check OSX llvm.

Apple uses it's own LLVM version of clang making it difficult for platform portability.

You can add `RANGEFINDER` in custom defines to enable support for LIDAR.

LightWare SF11 will be discontinued later this year.  Have used a LIDAR-Lite v3HP with Ardupilot - have not tried with BF.

New designs should not include a SPI receiver but use U[S]ART instead.
