I have same problem. It just does not work out of the box. Don't know why.

When you click - it acts as a link.

Hi guys, i resolved this error of way incorrect but work for me , modified index.html, where load script app.min.js, remplace reference to app.js, then copy code of app.js from https://almsaeedstudio.com/themes/AdminLTE/index2.html into app.js of my project and worked!
