rainbow transparency value?

Great addon. Are there plans to add the alpha channel and get the rgba value of colors? Is it easy to extract that info? Thanks again.

thanks for filling, I do plan on adding support for alpha, but it does involve some pretty big changes, so unfortunately it will be a couple months before I can get around to it. What in particular were you thinking would display the alpha value, the picker inspector, all of the tools?

So far I've been using the inspector to sample colors from the page to use in my graphics and css so that's the primary area of interest. You could replace the rgb(c1,c2,c3) format with an rgba(c1,c2,c3,a) one. Or if people still need the convenience of rgb() (maybe for supporting older browsers), have the rgba() format as a separate option.

Glad this tool is there, all the other color pickers I tried are borked on my Ubuntu box.
