Can't download anything

OS : macOS 10.14.6 Mojave Installed using gem command

When I download any site, for example this site I am downloading when I do it it say 398 pages. But after that it downloads in 6 seconds, and in all lines it say thing like this

private method `open' called for URI:Module

In the result folder there's nothing but blank folder trees. What should I do to fix the error? Thanks.

I have the same issue, downgraded to 2.2.1 that worked

just git checkout the tag 2.2.1 instead of default master branch
