Hi Team
I am trying to put this on my display. I don't see app icons but some wallpaper and text
Hi! I am not sure what you mean. Do you mean that AA fails to initialize? Could you provide a screenshot or video of what happens and some information about what hardware you're using?
What I meant was, I had expected to see mobile app icons(map, Spotify etc) on the screen of the device's display. I am running android 9 on my display
That's the configuration menu of the headunit. Can you clarify what setup you're trying to use? You're supposed to connect a phone to the display via USB, and then the display should display the phone's AA interface.
Sorry I wasn't clear enough earlier.
Yes I did connect my phone to the device via USB. What I all see is these two images attached
I was expecting to have big icons and when I click on NAV, it would open maps
@harry1453 could you please post what do you see when you launch head unit after connecting the display to mobile phone via usb?
That's strange... Those are buttons supposed to emulate headunit buttons.
I don't have an image of the app running but it looks exactly like the normal AA interface
Can you check that your tablet can handle USB OTG devices? Try a mouse or keyboard or something?
@harry1453 Thank you for the quick response. Yes, it works well with a mouse, keyboard, etc.
How about phone settings?
Also, do I have to start the android automobile app on the phone?
@harry1453 any thoughts on this?
