Title Bar on second screen

Open jbgruenwald opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Gnome usually doesn't show a title bar on the second screen, so the extension doesn't work on the second screen. It offers the option to only work on the primary screen, so that Gnome is at least operable, but the UX suffers a lot under it, because windows are controlled differently depending on the screen.

There is the Gnome Extension Multi Monitor addon, but the title bar from this addon doesn't cooperate with Unite so my windows are still not closable, movable, etc.

Would it be possible to either create a Title Bar in Unite or to make Unite cooperate with the Multi Monitor Addon?

+1 for that feature. If you're too busy to look at this maybe you could suggest where to dig to bring this up Anyway, thanks for great piece of work @hardpixel

Hi @jmiedzinski, sorry for the super late response. This feature will need a lot of work but if you are up for it, I am open to PRs.

You cant take a look at the multi-monitors extension or dash-to-panel paneManager and panel.

An alternative is to add support for the multi-monitors extension as requested in issue #19.
