Skills on Alexa doesn't work
After receiving the email from Amazon indicating the end of compatibility starting November 1st, as of today, October 16th, no connected device has worked.
The skill appears to be correctly connected.
I tried deactivating the skill and connecting it again to re-pair all devices. Result = no devices recognized.
Provide your username so I can find you in the logs (tonight)
Also I need a LOT more than "doesn't work" what exactly are the error messages, and do you get any output from input nodes?

On Node Red in Home Assistant, I didn't receive any errors, either on the initial Alexaskill node or on other nodes.
Unfortunately, the only error was in the Alexa app with "device not recognized."
Now the devices are no longer seen by Alexa.
First of all, thank you very much for your work! This morning it stopped working. Last night everything was fine. Node-red says it's connected, but no Alexa voice commands are starting the automation on Node-red. I don't have Alexa+.
I don't know if you've already made any changes but the devices have reappeared in Alexa and are available and working again.
First of all, thank you very much for this amazing work you’ve created. As a possible hint to help with this issue, here’s what happened to me:
Everything was working fine this morning, but in the afternoon I noticed that the devices I had added stopped responding. I’d say it seems to be an Alexa recognition issue, since when I gave a command, Alexa replied that the device was not compatible.
I tried disabling and re-enabling the skill, and after that, voice commands started working again.
However, there’s still something odd: if I open the Alexa app, go to Devices, and select any device linked to this skill, the app shows a loading spinner for a few seconds and then returns to the device list without displaying the device details.

I encounter exactly the same problem.
Node-red 4.1X: No error log Alexa application: On sending a command: "The server is not responding"
Unfortunatly, no others log.

I had the same issue today: all my devices suddenly stopped responding in the Alexa app with the error “Server not responding”, even though everything was connected and working fine in Node-RED and on the device management website.
What solved it for me was disabling the Node-RED skill in Alexa and then re-enabling it. After that, voice commands worked again.

Same here Node-Red v5.2.1 Connection in Node Red still online but Alexa App tells Server not Responding.

Same issue. I tried to disable and re-enable the skill with no luck.
Before disabling the skill, Alexa told me "xxx does not support that" (where "xxx" is the device in Node-RED).
Now, after re-enabling the skill, it takes some time until it says "xxx does not respond".
It's strange that I can't find the skill in my Alexa app anymore. It simply doesn't appear in my skills list or for reinstallation.

It worked again, thank you very much! The only strange thing is that the skill no longer appears in my app, neither in my skill list nor for relinking or reinstallation. Any suggestions?
I did the "Alexa, discover devices", and it worked for me, even though no new devices were found , that made it work again, I did nothing else.

Not really, I can only assume this is part of the it rolling out slowly in the "Skill Store"

At first I'd like to thank you so much Ben, that you spend your time after work doing this great job.
Initially it is working on my side as well. I can control my lights and covers with percentage values, on/off.
I'm only facing issues with scene activation (activity). I only got "name of scene is not reacting" as response from alexa.*

My username is wink7 I've been using your skill for a while and it's great. As of this afternoon, the node-red side isn't working fine, but when I ask Alexa to turn on or off a device created with your skill, I get the response "this function is not available on device x." Thanks again for your great work.

@wink73 Then open a new issue with details of what device you are trying to use so I can find in the database as see what traits it has when I look at things at the weekend.
I have about 50 devices created that are currently not working. One of them, for example, is called "Triangolo"
@wink73 please open a new issue, but I think the problem is because the devices are all marked as ACTIVITY & SWITCH.
Try removing the ACTIVITY Application Type flag and (in the new issue) let me know if that fixes things. There is already an issue for Scenes/Activities (#199) so this is probably related

There is no camera support in the Skill, so I'm not sure what you are asking. All I can suggest is that you ask Alexa to discover devices and that should force it to pick up the new version of the definitions of any devices defined in the skill. If they still don't work please open a NEW issue with your skill username and details about the device type so I can look at it later.
su node red ho fatto i flows con ezviz e poi ho messo un node di alexa home. ho sempre funzionato pero' ho letto che c'era un problema con l'aggiornamento della skill il debug su node red mi dice Error: Connection refused: Not authorized
@tattolisilvio79-lang I'm sorry that doesn't help me understand, but if the ezviz nodes have stopped working that is not related to this set of nodes or skill
If the "Connection refused: Not authorized" is coming from the these nodes then please OPEN A NEW ISSUE with all the details (skill username and device details) and I can try and help.
