I've to disconnect the PICO often, then upide tries to reconnect, and searches on all devices again, I think this could be made faster, when the last device would be memoized and put at first in the list, if possible.

This should already be the case. And this works for me under Linux. Can you run it from the command line? This should tell you which ports it's trying to open in which order.
