More permissive licence
Hi there! I'm about to implement a minimalistic java vm for an arm cortex-m device. I'd be happy to base my work on NanoVM and contribute to this project. Unfortunately I require a more permissive licence for my project. Could you consider using a more permissive licence for the project? Something like MIT or LGPL, which would allow using the VM for non-open projects. Thank you!
To clearify my question: I'd like to use the VM in firmware projects that I can't share. That's why using NanoVM is currently not possible without violating the license. Nevertheless I can share my port and modifications (I guess that's why you used GPL in the first place). I'd recommend using the LGPL, which would require all modifications in the library to be published under the terms of the LGPL while permitting the use in proprietary applications.
