'add domain' flow dissonance

When logged in with HAPPYDOMAIN_NO_AUTH=1

I add a domain example.com and immediately land on the domains list page where example.com is listed.

When logged in 'properly' via a registered user, I add a domain example.com and I land on an intermediate page:

The difference here is strange, plus the fact I only have one 'provider' it seems unintuitive at this stage (read pointless) to click the only option.
