Camera lag after updating to iOS 12

Hi,

I know that this is an iOS Vision framework feature.

But I was wondering if you do know a possible fix for this.

After updating to iOS 12, the camera started lagging when I used this method.

I thought its blocking the main thread and thus tried calling it from a new thread.

Now, it is smooth. But sometimes I get EXEC_BAD_ACCESS

Any Idea on how to resolve this?
